BRENDAN MORMAN

PROJECT ENGINEER

Why or how did you get into construction:

Growing up, I was always fascinated with construction and watching all the equipment. I got my first experience working as a laborer in high school at a local excavation company. I was immediately hooked on construction and wanted to learn more. I enrolled in OSU’s Construction System Management program, and from there, I started my career in construction.

What project are you the proudest of:

As a Project Engineer, I’m proud to have contributed to the construction of one of the New Albany Data Centers. This wasn’t just another project; it felt like laying the groundwork for the future of technology. Being a part of such a monumental endeavor was both a challenge and a rewarding experience, one that will always stand out in my career.

The best part of your job:

Watching the project come to life and getting to help make the concept become a reality.

What do you like about Central Ohio:

It is a great place to live with many things to do with friends. Columbus is also an excellent place for construction since it is constantly expanding.

The best compliment anyone could give you:

Your hard work and determination are a valued asset to this team.

Hobbies:

I enjoy fishing, four-wheeling with friends, and watching dirt track races.

What’s something you’ve always wanted to do or is on your bucket list:

Traveling to all 50 states has always been a major item on my bucket list. I’m nearly there, with just a handful of states on the northeast coast left to explore. After that, my sights are set on the vast landscapes west of the Mississippi River. The journey has been incredible so far, and I can’t wait to see what the remaining states have in store.
